Every year for the past 3 years we sponsor the Okapi Wanderers Rugby team made of young men between the ages of 8 and 19. This volunteer run community rugby team works to instill the principles of sportsmanship, integrity and responsibility in its young players.
As the team is a mixed bag of cultures, countries, languages and races the kids came up with and voted for the Okapi emblem. It's an animal of African descent which looks like a Zebra but with short hind legs and a long neck similar to a Giraffe. A very appropriate name for such a diverse group of people.
