Fundacion Don Tomas, the Lightning Cross Country Booster Club, the Miami Road Runners
Club, and Shape Up with Schiffy will provide the logistics, planning, energy and enthusiasm
to this cause. However, we need your help and are reaching out to local businesses and
merchants to request their support in the form of cash, food/water, supplies, your products,
and/or raffle prizes. Please see the attached page for donation levels and retain a copy of
the form for your records prior to sending.

On Sunday April 16th, the Fundacion Don Tomas, with the support of the Lightning Cross Country Booster Club, The Miami Road Runners Club, and Shape up with Schiffy, will host our third annual 5K Run/Walk at The Ives Estates Park, located at 20901 N.E. 16th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33179.
This year, our race will benefit the Broward Partnership for the Homeless, which opened its Central Homeless Assistance Center at 920 N.W. 7 in 1999 and has helped more than 19,500 homeless individuals and their families. In addition to providing hot meals and a place to stay, the organization provides:
The proceeds from this event will provide support and funding for the operation of that organization. These donations are critical to assist in maintaining the operational standards and vision that the Broward Partnership for the Homeless promotes.
